Reolreol is a shelving system based on a simple assembly principle.

We produce each shelving system for each individual customer, with every piece made to measure.

We use advanced digital machinery to cut every component to an accuracy of 0.1 mm. This minimises the risk of errors and ensures faster lead times.

Questions we’re often asked

How much weight can the shelving system hold?

The shelving system is designed to hold books, records and other heavy items – even when fully loaded.

As a rule of thumb, the shelving system can support approximately 150 kg per m² of shelving. This means a typical shelving system can carry several tonnes in total.

In short: Fill your shelves without worrying about the load capacity.

What is your lead time?

Once we’ve agreed on the final design, it takes 2–8 weeks before your shelving system is installed on your wall. For areas outside Zealand, the lead time is also 2–8 weeks. We’ll let you know the installation date approximately one week before we come.

What if I have wall sockets?

We simply design the shelving system around the wall socket. In fact, having power sockets on the wall is a good thing. Because there is a 2 cm gap behind the shelves, you can run cables vertically throughout the entire shelving system. This gives you greater freedom when styling your shelves with, for example, lamps.

Can I install my shelving system myself?

Yes, you can. Get in touch with us, and we’ll talk it through.

What if my wall is old and uneven?

By far, the vast majority of walls are perfectly suitable for a shelving system. There are, however, a few very rare exceptions:

  • If the wall is less than 6 cm thick. This is very uncommon, but in a few cases, for example, a lightweight concrete wall separating a bathroom may be thinner.
  • If the wall is very curved, by more than 10 mm. In other words, if the wall bows in or out in the middle. Even in many of these cases, we can adapt the design to accommodate it.

Can the price change during the design process?

The design process is where we work together to create the shelving system that’s right for you. We know the system and have the experience, while you know your home and what you find beautiful. We’ll send you a proposal, you give us your feedback, and we’ll send you an updated version – and we’ll keep refining it together until you’re happy.

Are there any exceptions?

No, there are no exceptions. All our shelving systems are built using the same tried-and-tested assembly principle, with the characteristic pegs forming an integral part of the construction.

Why are the joints visible?

Perhaps you’re referring to the “pegs”? The pegs conceal the mounting system and support the horizontal shelves. They’re what makes the whole system possible. In certain cases, we can remove them, for example beneath a TV or for a turntable.

Will your shelving system fit my wall?

Yes. We customize the height and width of the shelving unit down to the nearest 0.1 mm so that it fits your wall perfectly.
And this applies whether it needs to hang above a door, under the stairs, around the TV, or cover an entire wall.
