Here you’ll find technical information, options, and limitations of the reolREOL system.
All shelving units are customized with a 0.1 mm tolerance, ensuring a perfect fit for walls, people, and functions. Every custom-made shelving system is crafted using a tested design method we've developed over hundreds of projects.
Heights
Normal height: 25-30 cm. (flexible to the wall)
Ekstra height: 33 cm. (fixed)
Depths
Normal depth: 25 cm. (fixed)
Extra depth: 35 cm. (fixed)
Turntable shelf: 35–45 cm (adjustable)
Widths
Width between verticals: 40–55 cm. (flexible to the wall)
Max 240 cm dele
No parts, vertical or horizontal, can be longer than 240 cm.
This is primarily due to the material's dimensions at the time of purchase.
Contraction
Horizontal shelves can be pulled towards the center of the room.
Minimum distance: 4 cm.
Shelve assembly
The shelf is joined in a groove, hidden inside a vertical section. The joint will be visible in the end grain and cantilever.
With oak, it is not possible to optimize for veneer.

Dowels
reolREOL is characterized by small dowels. The dowels make it practically possible to assemble and manufacture the shelving.
Dowel above shelf: 4.5 cm
Dowel below shelf: 4.5 cm
Dowel below shelf, extra depth: 6.5 cm
Dowel at the side: approximately 2 cm.
Tolerance
reolREOL is a wall-mounted system. Therefore, tolerances around the shelving are necessary:
Bottom: 4 cm.
Top: 4 cm.
Side: 4 cm (recommended 8-12 cm).
Around outlets: 3 cm.
Above Door
The area above a door can be height-adjusted to custom measurements.
Min. shelf height: 13 cm
Narrow walls
For wall areas narrower than 100cm, narrower compartment widths can be made.
Min. width: 30 cm.
